New House LOVE...

It has been about a year since we took the real estate plug, putting our house on the market and started searching for our forever home. There were a few hiccups in the road, but we have made it. We love our new home for all the space and character it has to offer. We even love our home despite all of the "character" of an old house(leaking windows, old pipes, etc). One thing I really am excited about is there is enough room in the kitchen for a drying rack. I mostly use to hang up the little kids diapers, but is also nice to be able to hang up wet mittens and hats. There is also a huge glass sliding door that looks into the back yard. It is nice to sit in the kitchen, drinking our hot chocolate and watching the snow fall. We LOVE our new house!!!

Congratulations for being able to find your “HOME”! Leaking windows or pipes are inevitable in old houses, especially when it wasn’t used for a long time or haven’t been maintained properly. I hope that your plumbing dilemma is done by now. On a happier note, your sliding door offers such great view! I’m sure the kids love it too! They can play outside while you are watching them even if you’re cooking in the kitchen.

Even with the plumbing issues, you still love your new house! I guess, the space and character met your satisfaction that’s why those problems didn’t matter at all. Anyway, I’m sure that you’ll be renovating, redecorating, etc. and you can have these problems fixed. Just don’t ignore these issues for your plumbing system is very important in houses.
