Isaac enjoying fall!!!

(My little tree hugger!!!)

When I think of what fall tastes like, I think apple pie...Isaac apparently thinks leaves.

It seems like Isaac has been either sick or teething for the past few weeks. SO...mommy and daddy have had minimal sleep. In the mist of working all day and not sleeping all night I decide that Isaac's room should be rearranged. I want to have an open space on the floor he could play, and he needs a bookshelf!!! This is what I came up with...at least for now ;-)

This Saturday, Isaac and I met Adam down in Schenctady after the store closed and went to a harvest festival. Isaac sported all of his Halloween gear...hat, outfit, even little festive crocs. Of course he slept the entire time...but his hat and my new babywearing ponch(both compliments of Grandma)were a huge hit with the rest of the festival goers.

Here Isaac is hanging out in the showroom waiting for his Daddy to finish up working.

At the festival...me in my poncho...Isaac in his pumpkin hat.

Since before Isaac was even born people have been vying for his team spirit allegence. Here he is in an outfit that was picked out by Patrick Henry and family. It was given to Isaac at his baby shower, but last season it was a bit large, thankfully he can squeeze into it this year!

Fall is in full swing here in Albany and that means leaves galore in our yard...

New appearal and new skills!

Isaac sporting his new soakers and pumpkin hat. This is one of his new moves, he has been able to army crawl for awhile, he has also been able to get onto his hands and knees. Now, when he is on his hands and knees he picks his knees off the floor so he is on his hands and tippy toes. He is going to be running 1/2 marathons with his Daddy and Grandpa Craig soon!

The newest addition to Isaac's culinary adventures is tofu. He isn't too keen on meat so I am always on a quest to get protein into his diet. This evening he dined on small cubes of organic firm tofu, "breaded" with cheerio dust, plus some pureed carnival squash from the farmers' market. Dinner was a huge hit. This kid has it pretty good!!!

He is working hard on using his hands to get the food from his tray to his mouth...
A little help from mommy...

Who knew Maddie liked tofu too...

Handmade Soakers aka Knitted Wool Diapers

At first glance these diapers may not seem like they would do the job a diaper needs to do. The knitted wool pants has been lanolized to make them waterproof. Grandma Maggie made a few pairs for Isaac. This is the first time he is wearing them...we'll let you know how they work!

Great hair Isaac...here is a close up of the hair...this is the result of wearing his new pumpkin hat...I'll get a picture of it next time he has it on...it's super cute!!!
