Isaac's third birthday started out with special pancakes for breakfast...Adam was able the have breakfast with Isaac...that is a special treat! I stayed up late the night before to decorate, the reaction for Isaac was so worth the loss of sleep. He was so excited! Isaac requested bowling and pizza, so that's was we did. Our family, plus bubbe, zayde, hana, mike and grandma & poggie bowled a little, than came back to our house for pizza, presents and cake. Isaac wanted a cake with Thomas and jobi logs(from the Thomas movie, Misty Island Rescue)Everyone was very generous to Isaac, he loved everything that he received!!!

A day...make that an hour in the live of the Zima boys...

One of the bedrooms on our first floor is currently being used as a playroom for the boys...we spent alot of time in there. Isaac could play with his "guys"(currently Peter Pan and Captain Hook)hours, I love listen to the dialoge he give to the toys he is playing with. Elliott is not really in to toys, he is in to climbing, anything that he can pull himself on to...it is stressful to watch, but he is getting sturdier everyday!!!

This happened in the few seconds I was helping Isaac...Elliott if you are going to mess up mommy's crocheting, don't leave your binky as evidence ;-)

Disney 2011

We spent the last week of 2011 at Walt Disney World. The memories are so numerous that it would take multiple post to include everything that happened on our trip. for the sake of time is a VERY brief summary of our trip followed by a very small sample of the pictures that were taken...

Long road trips in the car, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, rides, family dinners, swimming, LOTS of family time:-), first birthdays, first haircut, first big kid rides, ...memories that will last FOREVER...amazing trip!!!

Happy 13th Months!!!

January 30th 2012...Elliott is 13 months today!Love You!

Hanukkah 2011(Elliott's 1st)

Hanukkah was late in December 2011. We celebrated the first few nights at home. Then, we started to head south, first stopping in Northern Virginia and ending in Orlando, Florida. Hanukkah we celebrated at every stop along the way, with whom ever we ended being with that night. It was nice to be able to share this holiday with so many people!

This was the first time Lila participated in Hanukkah...She saw Isaac wearing a yarmulke, so she wanted to she well!

Some December 2011 Moments...

Elliott's first 1st birthday card...Thanks GiGi...he loved the Mickey on the front!
Isaac went through a phase of requesting hot apple cider...in a mug of course.

Elliott was super excited about his new kitchen from Grandma and Poggie...maybe not as excited as I was though.  Ever since Isaac was a baby I have wanted a simple wooden play kitchen, I am so happy to have it for my boys now!

We had roads/train track over take the family room for several days.

I think Elliott is taking after his big brother(and Daddy) in the sports department, he already has a good arm!  Look at those bangs...and those eyes, to quote one of his books, "baby I could just eat  you up!" Love you Elliott!
