Today we hosted a Memorial Day BBQ at our house, thank you all for coming and for all the goodies that you brought!!! Not only was it Memorial Day, it was also Isaac's Zayde's(Adam's Dad)birthday. Isaac helped me make the cake...he did not cry and sat nicely in his bouncy seat while I decorated it ;-) Daddies with their babies! Here is Isaac(left) with his friend Alex(right). Alex is about eight weeks younger than Isaac. They didn't plan it, but don't they look cute in their matching outfits? Isaac with his friend Ya'ir.
Isaac's went to PA again this weekend because his Great Uncle Robert(who lives in Alaska) was visiting Great Grandma Bea. This was the first time Isaac met Uncle Robert!
So after a not so great night of sleeping last weekend, a quest for a good nights rest has been my life's work. Agree with it or not but, Isaac has slept in bed with us pretty much since he was born. It let me not be a zombie mommy and there is nothing sweeter then waking up to a perfect little baby every morning. That being said, it is time for him to start sleeping in his own bed. I know that if I put him in there and let him cry in a night or two he will be used to it, but I am unwilling to do that. So the past few nights Adam or I have put him in his bed between 8-9pm. He was fallen asleep without protest. All week he has woken up before midnight, I bring him in bed, nurse him and we all fall back to sleep. Last night I put him down at 9pm...at 4am we woke up to a few babbling noises coming from his room...7 hours of sleep in a row, amazing! I nursed him and he slept until 6:40am. Oh...he also rolled over on to his belly sometime during the night!!!
Here are some pictures of Isaac's room. Even after months of work it still isn't done...no radiator cover, no doors, etc. Grandma Maggie is letting Isaac borrow one of her exersaucers, he loves it(it was really hot today, that's why Isaac is naked).
Isaac is very lucky to have three Great Grandmas and one Great Grandpa...We spent the weekend in PA visiting his Great Grandma Bea, as well as his Grandma and Grandpa!
Isaac was not in the mood for a photo...but I took it anyways ;-)
