OK...well maybe not their first hair cut ever, just the first hair cut that I have ever given them. The first hair cuts I have ever giving anyone. I decided a while ago that I wanted to try cutting Isaac and Adam's hair to save a few dollars, I just was too nervous to actually do it. Adam was in desperate need of a trim, so I figured now was as good a time as any. I armed myself with a new set of clippers and set up shop in the back yard. Neither of the haircuts are perfect, but thy weren't horrible either...practice makes perfect ;-)

A weekend in PA
We spent the weekend in PA visiting Isaac's Great Grandma Bea. He had a blast playing at the neighborhood playground, hanging out with the kids next door, playing with a fly swatter, but most of all entertaining Grandma Bea. For some reason the camera didn't come out much this weekend, so this is the only picture I have from our trip.
As we are getting ready for number two's arrival, there have been some changes in the boys' room. Isaac is very excited about the addition of a new "big boy" bed. He has taken several naps in his new bed and usually falls asleep there at night(I am not ready for him to be out of his crib yet so we still move him back to his crib.)
A visit to the museum.

For those of you who have not heard...Isaac will be getting a little BROTHER in a few months. I have some ultrasound pictures but our scanner seems to be under the weather, so I will have to post those later. From the the looks of it, this new little boy seems to be doing very well and is very active. My very patient ultrasound tech had her work cut out for her while trying to get all the measurements she needed. Then she spent another 20 minutes trying to get some good pictures for us, he didn't want to sit still for the camera! We are now busy transforming Isaac's room in to "The Boys' Room", I love the sound of that.

Adventures in Camping with Pregnant Ladies and Toddlers!
A few weekends ago we headed out for our once a summer camping trip. We wanted to stay close to home so we went to Moreau Lake State Park, in Saratoga, NY. Not only had we never been to this park before, we had never been camping with a VERY busy 18 month old, or a very uncomfortable pregnant mama...it posed to be a very interesting weekend. The park ended up being only 40 minutes for the house which was very nice. The sites were big, the bathrooms were clean(even had coin-free showers!!!), there was a nice big playground, and a nice beach to enjoy. Other than the fact that pregnant people should not sleep on the ground, it was a really fun trip. We would camp here again, as well as day trip!
Isaac "helping" put up the tent...
The start of our hike...
Enjoying the wildlife...
This is how the hike ended (thank you Daddy!)
Chopping firewood...
Time for some grub...
One happy camper...
After our hike we decided to check out the lake. We were not planning on swimming until after out lunch and Isaac's nap. As we turn the corner and the lake comes into view, Isaac started screaming, "WATER, WATER, WATER!!!" So we walked on the beach, which lead to Isaac dipping his toes, which lead to Isaac full on jumping in the water, which lead to Adam going back to our site to get lunch, swimsuits, chairs towels, sand toys, etc...what a good husband I have!!! The beach was perfect for our family, the water was warm and shallow so Isaac could be very independent.
