2010 is starting to fly by just like 2009 did. We have had a very busy January. Before we even had time to recover from Christmas, we packed up again and were on a plane to Orlando. We spend just over a week at the Walt Disney World Resort. Both Adam's family and my family were there with us. Despite the cold, snowy weather, Adam and my father participated(and completed) their first 1/2 marathon. Isaac turn one while we were there. Isaac got his first haircut. We got to spend a little time with wonderful friends. We saw some of Adam's south Florida relatives. I am sure that I am missing some of the Florida Festivities, but you get the picture :-) We had a wonderful time.

This on was taken back home, it was just cute spaghetti with a side of Cheerios.
We got home on a Saturday, unpacked, collected the dogs from there respective caretakers and started to settle back into our routine....That is when the high of Walt Disney World started to fade. Sunday afternoon one of our dogs, Madison aka Maddie, got into something that she should not have. This troublesome activity is not a new one for our darling Maddie girl, only this time it turned very serious. Maddie ate most of a container of raisins. For those who don't know, grapes and raisins are toxic, potential fatal to dogs. Once ingested they start to affect the dogs renial function. After a week of intenstive, 24 hr vet care, Maddie is back home. She is by no means better, she lost some weight, and still has very elevated bloodwork. The game plan is to keep her eating and drinking(and not vomitting) so her body can continune to recover. So if you don't mind saying a prayer, crossing your fingers, wishing on a star...Maddie could use it(her owners could too!)
Poor Maddie-girl!!!
